Description
Nehemiah was a cupbearer to the king of Persia — a man of influence, but his heart burned for the broken walls of Jerusalem. When he heard that the city’s gates were burned and its people vulnerable, he wept, fasted, and prayed. Then, he acted.
He led a mission to restore Jerusalem’s ruined defenses. In just 52 days — despite sabotage, slander, and assassination plots — he rebuilt the walls of the city with a sword in one hand and a trowel in the other. But Nehemiah didn’t stop at bricks and mortar. He also purified the people, calling them back to God’s commands.
This formula is named after Nehemiah because sometimes, before you build something new, you’ve got to clear out what’s toxic. A healthy gut is foundational — physically and spiritually.
